The command consists of two words. The first word determines the type of information (4CAST for Surf Forecasts, SURF for beach checks and BUOY for wave buoy data). The second word is the first five letters of the place name for surf forecasts and beach checks. For wave buoys, the second word is either the first four letters of the buoy name (or less if the name is shorter) or by the buoy number (five figures eg. 62103).

For example, sending the message 'SURF BOUR' would give you a beach check from PERSON at Bournemouth and "4CAST FIST" would give you the five-day forecast for Fistral.
