Will ALL mobile phones work with ItsGoingOff?

Yes, ItsGoingOff uses text messaging, which is standard on all mobile phones. You DON'T need to have WAP.

If you request a message from us, then it should take less than ten seconds to reach you. However, we have found that occasionally some mobile network operators may take some time to send the text message when they are busy. If you find this happening, then swap your operator.

In contrast, operator logos, picture messages and ringtones will only work with certain phones, listed here.

How do you interpret the messages?

The standard text message is only 160 characters long, so we have to use abbreviations. Your first message of each type should briefly explain the format to you. It is also explained here.

Check your enable/disable status for all Scheduled Messages?????????

We understand that there may be some mobile phones that won't be able reach our number via text messaging. However, we have tested loads of them and haven't yet found one that doesn't work. If you think this is happening with your mobile, then please let us know, and we will endeavour to change the system for you.

When I registered, I did not receive my verification text message.

Check in the Member area (Personal Profile) that you have entered the correct mobile number.
